1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Empress Piercing app, operated by Empress Piercing Ltd. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the app.

3. The app and its AI features

The app lets you visualise piercings on your own photo, browse a catalogue, chat with an AI advisor, find studios and manage credits and membership. Two important points:

• Visualisations are illustrative. AI-generated images are an artistic impression to help you imagine a look, not a promise of the exact real-world result, which depends on your anatomy and the piercing performed by a professional.
• The advisor and aftercare content are general information, not professional or medical advice. Always follow the guidance of your piercer, and seek medical help (e.g. your GP, pharmacist, or urgent care) if you have signs of infection, an allergic reaction, or any health concern.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate details and keep them up to date. You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

5. Credits

Credits unlock features such as visualisations. They have no cash value, are not money, and are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by law. We may grant credits through sign-up bonuses, in-store rewards, anniversaries and promotions. Credits do not expire while your account remains open. If you delete your account, any remaining credits are lost.

6. Membership and prize draws

Membership and any prize draws (raffles) are subject to their own rules. The full prize draw rules, including eligibility (18+), the free entry route, how winners are selected and notified, and prize details, are published on our raffle rules page and are available in the app wherever the draw is promoted. No purchase is necessary to enter.

7. Subscriptions and in-app purchases

Paid memberships are auto-renewing monthly subscriptions bought through Apple's App Store. Credit packs are one-off purchases and do not renew. For both, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, at the price shown at the point of purchase.

• Renewal. Your membership renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions on your iPhone), or from the Manage Subscription button in the app, which takes you to the same Apple screen. Cancelling turns off auto-renewal; you keep your membership benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Changing tier. If you move to a cheaper tier, the change takes effect at your next renewal and you keep your current benefits until then.
• Refunds. Purchases made through the App Store are billed and refunded by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

8. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no uploading unlawful or infringing images, no attempting to break or probe its security, and no using it for anything other than its intended personal use.

9. Bookings

Booking links take you to our third-party booking provider (Fresha). Any booking you make there is subject to that provider's terms and to our studio policies.

10. Intellectual property

The app, its content and branding are owned by Empress Piercing Ltd or our licensors. Images you upload remain yours; you grant us permission to process them solely to provide the visualisation feature to you.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on illustrative visualisations or general information in the app, nor for the third-party services we link to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
